Okay... I'm bringing back my copypaste journal header since I have some important information that I think should be easy to access.
I've made a comic directory to link on every journal I submit because people seem to see that as a symbol of professionalism. Yeah, I don't get it either, especially since I already have a folder for it in my gallery... but whatever works.
This is one case where I actually wish I had a subscription... but I really don't think I'm paying for one a) because of DA's ridiculous antics earlier this year and b) because every other feature that I used to buy Subs for has been given to users free now. Have they added any new benefits to make up for giving normal users Deviation and comment previews, Mood boxes, and all the rest? If not I doubt I'll be changing my mind about paying them any time soon.
ANYWAY!!! If you bothered looking at the journal I made 6 seconds ago you might have noticed "Airborne Plague" listed underneath the stuff for WANTED. I was thinking of doing a mini-comic featuring Hollowhounds (totally not trying to cash in on the AN WOLF market, no, not at all).
...No, really, I actually thought it would be a fun idea. I've got some stuff in my mind, like the names and hierarchy of various packs. It would probably be done entirely in pencil on sketchpad paper, just touched up/words added digitally. It won't interfere with WANTED, since this kind of thing can be done during particularly boring college classes. I have an extremely vague story idea planned out, but this project won't even be started until WANTED is further underway. It'll probably be much shorter then even the first set of WANTED comics, just something to draw during my spare time when I'm bored.
One thing I'd like to wait for would be more Hollowhounds created by other people... I have several I've made already, in addition to Sugarhigh (need to draw them digitally though), but it will be quite an effort to make interesting characters enough to fill at LEAST two good-size packs. I'll post some info on the Hollowhound packs, as well as typical markings, names, "genetics", etc. once exams are over. *shudder*
...Anyway. I got distracted by some IM drama which lured me back on the Internet for the moment, but I should probably get back to that essay I was working on... Stupid school.
