Freakin Xmas

  • Drinking: Possibly milk soon.
Alright... up until now I was planning on doing Xmas gifts in the form of recolored adoptables, but a couple hours ago I changed my mind and went NOOO, I want to draw individual headshots like last year. So now I have like... 15 headshots to do. I have three with the flat colors done, and characters planned so far for everyone on my list.

My choices are:
a) Skimp on them and make them crappy and have them possibly done by the 25th, as well as not being able to make any sort of personal holiday piece in time OR
b) Take my time on them and make 'em good, aiming to have them done by the end of the month, taking breaks from working on them to devote time to a personal picture for the holidays.

What do you guys want? I have a feeling I know what sort of answers I'll get, but I just wanted to let all my friends know that if you don't see an Xmas gift by the 25th that doesn't mean I'm not making one at all.

Take your time, silly. I'll be lucky if I get ANYTHING done, since I'm on vacation right now, but we'll see. I'm usually bad about gifties to begin with, vacation probably won't help. Since I have .... The rest of tonight and tomorrow to work on something, when I don't even have ideas at all that isn't copying you and/or Nyoko? Yeah. Unlikely. I work slow. ):

Take your time. I've never really been into the 'giving art as gifts' thing, just because the quickest time i can ever get anything done to my liking varies so much, but usually leans towards the "months" time frame. :/ I'd be lucky if I had anything done by NEXT Christmas, so...

But anyway, our Christmas here is delayed anyway so my family can make it here without missing things where they live, so I'd definitely say take your time with things.

I would be happy with whatever you do. I know the pressures of having to get something done by a certain time, and the pressures of having to get something done well. So whichever is the easier/more satisfying alternative for you.
