You guys ever get this feeling, where you have so much stuff to do that you don't want to do anything? Yeah... that's me right now.
I've got several things coming up:
Final projects for 2 classes, both no where near done, one that's due in three days, one that's due in about a week and a half
Job starting next week which will have a pretty heavy workload, especially at first
Couple of art pieces I want done, both personal and owed to people, that I'm going to try to cram in before my job starts
Ugh, and both projects have to be presented to the class. I DID NOT KNOW THIS WHEN I THEMED MY WEB DESIGN PROJECT ON SONIC THE HEDGEHOG. ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuck.
Anyway, both the projects could probably be done in a couple hours if I really put my mind to it... I just reaaally don't want to do it. xP
Not only that but I'm also trying to save money for a couple of things:
Tales of Vesperia ($50)
Renting/buying a used PS3 ($???)
Buying material for an awesome cosplay Duck and I want to do ($??)
Actually going to Otakon this year (~$50 for admission alone)
Not to mention... you know, actually saving money and stuff.
x_x
Anyway you guys probably don't care about this stuff. xP Just kind of venting and getting things down...
I DID in fact get that art job that I may or may not have mentioned in a previous journal. The pay isn't *that* great and it'll be pretty tough... but it's something anyway. xP If that doesn't work out I can always get a job at Gamestop or something.
And of course there's the SWINE FLU APOCALYPSE coming as well. Not that I'm particularly worried about it right now (I live pretty far from the border anyway), but it's still something to worry about... an extra stress thing I don't really need. Mostly I'm worried about my buddies in Texas and stuff... hope you guys are okay.

As for the job, congratulations! You have a source of income, which puts you ahead of a lot of people these days hurrr. Whenever you find a PS3, let me know ~ I'll have to start keeping track of monies too, because dangit I want to play Vesperia toooo. ):

Aww man, good luck getting that stuff you're saving for o_o;;; Even when you have a steady cash flow, sometimes it's hard to just sit down and -save- money, because the temptation to blow it all is really strong 8D;;; I've finally put a halt to my spending because there's some stuff I -need- to buy by next school year, and I kept just buying junk off of Amazon and Ebay <_<;;; Even if something only costs one dollar, if you buy a hundred things that only cost a dollar, that's still $100 >___>

also, what is you have to exactly do for your art job? Is it like, draw such and such by a certain time or whatever?
Grats on the job though! Even if it's hard-ish, as long as it's something you enjoy (art job + you liking art I'm assuuuuming xD =
*pesters* Aaand what are you guys cosplaying as D: ??
Ah, and thanks! I'll probably be starting the job officially in a day or two, so I'm a bit nervous. xP And I'll make sure to let you know if I find a good deal on PS3s. I think it would be cool to play Vesperia around the same time, kinda like we did with Abyss, so that we could be surprised by things at the same time. :0
And I definitively know what you mean about saving. xP Every time I make a couple extra bucks I'm tempted to waste it on something stupid. I'll have to seriously put my mind to it if I'm not going to blow my new paycheck.
Oh, the deal for this job is to get a certain number of images done by a certain deadline. It's about 10 per week, which sounds like a lot but the style they're to be done in isn't that hard... if I can figure out a way to do them efficiently it should be a pretty good deal. I'll be drawing mostly "items" for a petsite, so like, little cartoony animals and food and toys and stuff.
