Haha I'm behind on so many things. Guess I'll just have to buckle down and do them all.
Some more of my stuff has been released for Ichu but I still don't want to post it until I have a bit more. I'll have some things to submit soon.
I got a copy of Sims 3 yesterday. It's pretty schweet, except for the fact that it lags to hell and back on my machine. And that the body modifying thing they advertised turned out to be more limited then I thought. Ah well, guess I'll wait for Sims 4 to make characters that are tall/short or whatever. Also the entire town running at once is kind of a bitch. :/ It kinda conflicts with how I play. Also, since it's so new there aren't any real downloads... in Sims 2 I had a complete Skitty with elf ears, horns, a spade tail, etc, but it'll be a long time before I can recreate her in the new one. And I kinda don't appreciate getting ADS shoved in my face every time I click the play button. </rant>
Also, I think DA is trying to drown us in Premium ads. I'm so sick of that plum colored button and those horrible green things. It's on every page... forever... multiple times. And the 'benefits' or Premium still don't even come close to making it worth buying. How many people have so many deviations to upload at once that it's actually WORTH it to pay that money? I mean... think about it. You're going to spend hours working on such and such piece and can't be assed to spend SECONDS uploading each one? Seriously man?</rantagain>
Er... I don't have much to say right now. xP Just kinda want to get a journal from nearly a month ago off my front page.

also Sims 4 didn't include a height adjust slider? =o thats surprising as they seem to be pretty hot amongst all the make-your-own-character-dude-thing games :V
not much has happened for me, except my 360 getting Red Ring'd a few days before Vesperia finally comes out here :V though that did poke me into finally playing Earthbound, so theres an upside X3
I do no, however, that those damn Sims took my fastest RPing buddy for a coupla days. Gah, the bastards. >_>

I saw that new uploading thing and honestly maybe I'm not THAT computer savvy because I had no idea what the fuck they were talking about...
Also I was debating on getting Sims 3 or not, but. Ads? In a game? REALY??
And yeah, Sims 3 still doesn't have a way to adjust height. Or much of anything new in the body section. The only real difference is that there's a fatness slider and a muscle slider as opposed to just fit/normal/fat like in the old game. Kinda disappointing because the advertisements made it sound like it would be as customizable as faces in Sims 2 and I was looking forward to making totally mutant Sims. xP
I think the new uploading thing is probably like the bulk-uploader Photobucket has. I still don't understand WHY someone would need that on DA, much less WHY they'd pay for it.
For Sims 3 basically you just get links for new stuff in their online cash-shop and news and stuff from the official site every time you start up the game. They're not that bothersome but for me at least they seem to slow down the start up screen a lot. I'm hoping there's a way to turn them off or something... I haven't bothered looking around for one yet.
Yeah, I didn't even notice it as a feature, and I dunno why anybody would want to use it.
... Or why any watcher would want to be SWAMPED with updates all at once.

Heh heh, yeah, I GOT IT like a week ago too. You're talking about the little launcher, right? It doesn't bother me so much, since it takes me like two seconds to just click the play button. BUT THEN AGAIN, it doesn't lag my computer. But yeah, the lag in the game sometimes, is really annoying.
I know I'm bugged enough when someone uploads 10 sketches or something (not really, but you know) but how many files would you have to upload at once to justify that thing? 40? 60?
I don't think I've seen the portfolios--are they different from the standard gallery folder things everyone gets?
Yeah, I was talking about the launcher. I thought it was lagging my game but I guess it could just be that my computer is slow. The whole thing lags a bit at times so that's probably just it.
